"Payday 2" is a first-person shooter video game that puts you in the role of a criminal. While most games have you enforcing justice, "Payday 2" will have you robbing banks, stealing military secrets, and busting your accomplices out of prison. Each map on "Payday 2" supports up to four players either locally or online. If you're playing alone, the artificial intelligence will fill in the remaining slots. While it has no single-player campaign, each map changes every time you play. Enemy placement is different, the location of the getaway vehicle is different, and you'll even encounter different enemies from game to game. Each map also has five difficulty modes to complete.

It's Good to Be Bad

Each map in "Payday 2" is split into multiple objectives. For example, on the bank heist, you'll first need to enter the bank itself and locate the vault. Afterward, you'll drill through the vault, grab as much money as you can and attempt to escape. During each objective, waves of police officers will try to stop you. These law enforcement agents range from regular cops to hulking juggernauts who wear layers of steel armor. Some enemies can even take you out in one hit. If you fall, your teammates must revive you before you bleed out. Each map in "Payday 2" requires a high level of teamwork and coordination if you want to make it out of each heist alive.

"Payday 2" also has some role-playing elements in it as well. As you complete heists, you'll earn experience points which you can use to level up. You'll unlock new abilities such as being able to run faster while carrying loot.
